Each branch of the CBH Group has an important role to play in creating and returning value to our growers. No matter which area or location you work in, you will be making a real contribution to this and to the sustainability of grain growing in Western Australia and beyond.  Here are some examples of roles we are often recruiting for.

Management Accountants

Finance meeting - Ben BossManagement accountants are responsible for reporting accurate and timely financial results for the main business units within the CBH Group, namely Operations (including Engineering) and Marketing & Trading. In addition, they provide day to day financial and accounting support to the operational managers within the business units. A strong focus of this role is in value adding through detailed understanding of business activities.

Our finance team is located in our head office in West Perth. 

Receival Point Operators

Harvest casualsReceival point operators are responsible for receiving, storing, outloading and maintaining the quality of grains within our regional zones. In some cases, during the harvest period, receival point operators may be given the opportunity to be in charge of a particular site. A lot of our senior operational managers started out as receival point operators.

These roles keep the network running. Based out of the ports, regional offices and Forrestfield our maintenance teams carry out preventative and corrective maintenance and repairs to bulk handling equipment including elevators, conveyors, fixed and portable machinery, as well as some administrative duties relating to SAP and procurement.

Project resources

Head Office Engineering MeetingCBH projects are a key part of creating and returning value to growers. We have a large project portfolio ranging from systems development through to multi-million dollar business growth and transformation projects across several years.  The projects cover a variety of areas such as engineering, trading, marketing, logistics, finance, human resources and service delivery.

IT Service Support ANALYST

IT support is a challenging role that requires a switched on, technically savvy person with an improvement and service orientated mindset to help the people that help the growers.

Working in a predominantly Microsoft and Cisco environment, with an ITIL based service delivery model, Service Support Analyst respond to incidents and requests reported to the IT Service Desk from all across the company. The Service Support team are based in head office but in the lead up to harvest, we look for additional employees that are willing to travel to some of our regional sites to assist with equipment testing and set up.

Each harvest we recruit anywhere up to 2000 casuals to work on our receival points.
