Our Casual Plant Operators work in a range of functions including grain sampling, weighbridge operations, grain receivals, quality and fumigation management as well as preparing grain for shipping while at all times focussing on safety, quality assurance and continuous improvement. Physically, the role involves bending, stretching, climbing ladders, some computer data entry, working in confined spaces, at height and in a hot and dusty environment.

 

As we operate 24 hours / 7 days per week, the shifts are up to 12 hours in duration and therefore we require individuals to work both day, evening and night shifts.

 

Skills and Experience

We are also looking for people who can work safely in a physically challenging environment, work hard and get along well with their team mates and are willing to learn on the job. 

Ideally you'll have some work experience in a manual environment and hold a current licence with C, MR and / or HR classes.
