We are seeking a skilled and safety focused Electrician to join our team in Koorda to contribute to the success of our dedicated operations team.
A typical day could see you travelling to any of the receival sites for preventative maintenance or for any breakdown issues within our Area 6 & 7 which include sites within the Shire of Koorda, Dowerin, Mukinbudin and Mt Marshall..

What you’ll be doing

Preventative and corrective maintenance on fixed and portable machinery including diagnosing and fault-finding PLC controlled equipment, which includes but not limited to elevators and conveyors, trippers, and dust systems

Completing basic administrative tasks to manage the maintenance function within SAP.
Standard shifts are Monday to Friday; however, you may be required to work on the weekends or additional hours over the busy harvest period.
In addition to sharing our values, our new Electrician would:

Hold a current WA Electrical Workers License
-
Hold an unrestricted Drivers Licence
-
Have experience in fixed plant maintenance, diagnostics and problem solving
-
Be willing to live in remote or regional country locations
-
Work extended and unpredictable hours depending on Harvest and grain out-loading
-
Work at heights, confined spaces and in areas with a high grain dust concentration
-
Possess intermediate computer skills
-
Display the desire and willingness to learn and accept new challenges
Possession of the following will be desired but not essential
-
HR or MR Drivers Licence
-
Current hazardous area installation certification
-
Senior First Aid Certificate
-
HV Switching Ticket
-
Experience in PLC Unity and Proworx N.X.T
-
Experience in operating SAP Maintenance modules, automation, and PLC control systems.
