The Role
We currently have a rare opportunity for an experienced Field Service Technician with a background in electronic and electromechanical repairs, to join our team at the Australian Grains Centre in Forrestfield on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Supervisor – Instrument Service, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and verifying NIR (Near Infra-red) instruments, top loading balances and other associated sampling equipment installed primarily at CBH storage facilities.
Responsibilities include:

Maintain, repair, and verify NIR instruments in accordance with NMI regulations and test procedures.

Service, repair, and verify trade approved weighing instruments (top loading balances) in accordance with NMI regulations and test procedures.

Maintain, repair, and install associated sampling equipment (e.g. Aerovac, Agtators, Falling Numbers).

Support the Country Quality team with troubleshooting and fault-finding.

Provide on-site breakdown support during harvest.

Action commission additions/modifications to hardware and software associated to sampling equipment
About You:
-
Experience repairing electromechanical equipment to component level
-
Electronic/restricted electrical qualification or diploma
-
Valid Australian driver’s licence
-
Experience utilising the Microsoft Office suite
-
Ability to regularly travel to site when required
