The Role
The CBH Metro Grain Centre, located in Forrestfield, is seeking team orientated and safety minded Grain Technicians on a full-time permanent basis.
Reporting to the Operations Supervisors, you will play a key role in the receival, storage, out loading and out turning of grain via road, rail and exported via shipping containers. This role is responsible for ensuring grain is managed across the site in an efficient and effective manner whilst maintaining a safe working environment for everyone around you.
Roster: Monday to Friday, rotating weeks between days (6am-2:30pm) and afternoons (2pm-10:30pm)
Responsibilities include:

Maintaining a safe working area for all employees and customers.

Maintaining a high standard of Hygiene across the Site.

Ensuring operational processes meet the requirement of industry and export standards.

Ensuring grain quality is received and maintained within receival standards.

Ensuring grain loaded via road, rail or export containers is correct, free of contaminants and within specifications.

Assist others with job specific training when required, ensuring proficiency of self in job tasks.
About You:
-
Hold an unrestricted and valid driver’s licence (HR/HC advantageous) with a reliable vehicle.

Be deemed physically fit in accordance with the CBH operational worker pre-employment medical.

Be able to work at heights, in confined spaces and in areas with a high grain dust concentration.

Current High Risk Work Licence LF (desirable).

Possess basic computer skills.
