Join the Employee Relations and Culture (ER&C) team at one of Australia’s leading grain organisations, who services the world with its end-to-end supply chain. Forming part of the wider People & Culture division, the ER&C team is a fast-paced and dynamic function, which provides support and advice to leaders on all people related matters, in a complex work environment.


Located at the CBH Head Office, in Perth's CBD, this is a perfect opportunity for an individual who has a solid grounding in HR and IR and who is seeking a hands-on role, in an environment that will provide exposure to complex workplace relations matters and strategic frameworks, to continue to grow and develop their technical skills and knowledge.


This opportunity is part-time work, on a 12-month fixed term contract, for two days per week (total of 16 hours). 


Reporting to the Head of Employee Relations and Culture and working closely with the Human Resources Leads and Principals, the key deliverable for the role is to support our operational leaders on all people related matters, including but not limited to sourcing and recruitment, workforce planning, talent and succession, performance management and disciplinary matters, workplace grievances, training and development, remuneration, benefits, policy interpretation, engagement and change management.


Our ideal candidate is an enthusiastic self-starter with:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline.

  • Minimum five years’ experience in a generalist Human Resources role, within a multi-faceted organisation.

  • Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex workplace investigations. 

  • High level interpersonal skills, including assertiveness and developed ability to influence and coach at management level. 

  • Excellent verbal and writing communication skills to articulate information clearly and concisely and in a range of different forms.
