The Role
Step into a vital role at the heart of agricultural innovation. As the Instrumentation Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, repairing and certifying a variety of field-deployable instruments—including near infra-red (NIR) technology, top-loading balances, imaging systems, and other associated instrumentation installed primarily at CBH storage facilities.
Equipped with a fully maintained vehicle, this role involves travel to regional sites to prepare equipment ahead of harvest & support breakdowns and urgent repairs during the harvest season.
This is a full-time permanent position based out of the Australian Grain Centre in Forrestfield.
Comprehensive on-the-job training is provided to support your professional growth and success.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain, repair, and certify NIR instruments in accordance with NMI regulations and test procedures
- Service, repair, and verify trade approved weighing instruments (top loading balances) in accordance with NMI regulations and test procedures
- Maintain, repair, and install associated sampling equipment (e.g. Aerovac, Agitators, Falling Numbers)
- Support the Country Quality team with troubleshooting and fault-finding
- Provide on-site breakdown support during harvest
- Action modifications to hardware and software associated to sampling equipment
About You:
- Proven experience in a similar field
- WA Electrical licence (desirable)
- Electronic/restricted electrical qualification or diploma
- Valid Australian driver’s licence
- Ability to travel to site when required
