The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual seeking a career in the Grains Industry to join our team based in Koorda as a Civil Maintenance Worker.

 

Civil Maintenance Workers are responsible for:

  • The general maintenance and building repair of the storage and amenities units

  • Operating and maintaining storage facilities in an efficient and hygienic manner in addition to Receival Points Operator duties, which will include receiving, storing and out loading grain.

 

Location:

This role is based in Koorda, approximately 238km from Perth. You will be required to live in a nearby community that offers a relaxed country lifestyle.

You will:

  • Exhibit a strong dedication to prioritising safety

  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and continually strive to exceed expectations

  • Work extended and unpredictable hours depending on Harvest and grain outloading

  • Work at heights, confined spaces and in areas with high grain dust concentrations

  • Possess experience in general maintenance and building repair

  • Possess basic computer skills

  • Possess an unrestricted driver’s licence

 

Possession of the following will be helpful:

  • Working at Heights

  • Confined Space Entry

  • Forklift

  • Front End Loader

  • Elevated Work Platforms

  • Skid Steer, and

  • Possess a valid MR Class drivers licence
