The role 

Reporting to the Superintendent - Logistics, the key deliverables for the role are:  

  • Scheduling and maintaining stock flow from receival site into port storage and on to ship. 

  • Developing the weekly schedule for road, rail, and shipping, in collaboration with transport operators and zone management.  

  • Monitoring the daily schedule and making necessary changes or deviations to the weekly schedule to ensure efficient operations of the supply chain. 

  • Ensuring safety is a number one focus when putting in place the annual and short-term plan for the supply chain. 


The successful candidate will have: 

  • At least 5 years’ experience in logistics and supply chain management. 

  • Previous experience in managing people within a similar role. 

  • Ability to understand, model and explain complex supply chain issues. 

  • Capacity in using planning and analytics systems.
