The Role 

Take the lead in driving inventory efficiency and make a real impact on operational performance!

 

As the Inventory Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing the forward stores function for the zone to ensure efficient and effective entry, tracking, and staging of parts, ensuring efficient operations across the maintenance team.

 

This role offers the chance to lead the function across two key locations, Corrigin and Northam, with regular travel between workshops.

 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Catalogue, order, and issue parts in line with work orders and maintenance budgets
  • Maintain accurate bin locations, stocking strategies, and monthly stock takes
  • Coordinate outbound freight to central stores and external vendors
  • Ensure accurate record keeping in SAP and other relevant systems
  • Support planners and supervisors by staging parts for efficient work execution
  • Maintain safety equipment and assist with warehouse organisation and inventory tasks

 

About you:

  • Previous experience in a stores or inventory focused role
  • Ability to analyse data to forecast future inventory demands and align with maintenance requirements
  • Experience and possession of a valid forklift licence
  • Knowledge of Maintenance Planning (desirable)
  • Previous experience with the Microsoft Office suite and SAP
  • Minimum C class driver’s licence (HR/MR class driver’s licence is desirable)
