The Role

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Electrician to join our Maintenance team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role will aim to provide preventative and corrective maintenance on fixed and portable machinery.

 

This position is based in Avon (Northam) but will require movement throughout receival sites, including York, Greenhills, Quairading and Calingiri.

 

Roster: Standard shifts are Monday to Friday, with an element of on-call required. 

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance and repairs to bulk handling equipment, including elevators, conveyors, fixed and portable machinery

  • Diagnosing and fault-finding PLC-controlled equipment, which includes elevators and conveyors, trippers, and dust systems

  • Complete basic administrative tasks that are aligned to the maintenance function

  • Providing electrical assistance to our remote receival sites in the Avon zone

  • Interpreting electrical schematics and genset powered assets

 

About You:

  • Holds a current WA Electrical Workers Licence and an unrestricted Drivers Licence

  • A strong safety focus, and commitment to safe work practices

  • Work at heights, confined spaces, EWP and forklift licence (desirable)

  • Ability to work in high grain dust concentrations

  • Experience navigating computerised maintenance systems

  • Current hazardous area installation certification (desirable)

  • SAP experience (desirable)
