The Role

We are seeking a passionate individual to join our Corrigin Country Maintenance Team as a Trades Assistant. Working with highly experienced Tradespeople, you will be accoutable for assisting with preventative and corrective maintenance of all fixed and portable equipment associated with all CBH assets within the assigned area of responsibility

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide assistance with preventative and corrective maintenance and repairs to bulk handling equipment which includes elevators, conveyors, fixed and portable machinery
  • Assist with install programs as required for major maintenance upgrades 
  • Assist with basic evaluations and troubleshooting of equipment breakdowns, fault finding and repairs 
  • Assit with warehousing duties

About You

You will:

  • Exhibit a strong dedication to prioritising safety

  • Display the desire and willingness to learn and accept new challenges
  • Hold the following tickets and licences: Construction White Card, First Aid, Working at Heights, Confined Space, Elevated Work Platforms, Forklift
  • Hold a valid Drivers Licence 

 

 Possession of the following will be advantageous:

  • Plant based Maintenance experience 
  • Exposure to batch, belt and weighbrige systems
  • Licenses including Dogging, Rigging and HR Drivers Licence 
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • General knowledge of auto electrics 
  • Competent with computer programs including microsoft office
