The Role

We are seeking motivated and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as Plant Operators on a casual basis at our Esperance Terminal. This position involves both day and night shifts, with shifts lasting up to 12 hours.

This frontline role plays a major part in our supply chain working with Growers, Contractors and team members to sustainably create and return value to Growers. Our Operations can run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Increased workloads may apply during harvest periods.

Responsibilities include:

• Grain sampling, receivals and plant hygiene

• Operation of machinery such as front-end loader and forklift (pending licencing)

• Control room operations 

• This role involves physical aspects including bending, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces, at heights and in hot and dusty environments

About You:

• Hold an unrestricted and valid driver’s licence with own reliable vehicle

• Experience working in a team-focused environment in the grain handling industry (desirable)

• Basic computer skills 

• Possession and experience using FEL, EWP, MR or HR tickets/licences (highly advantageous)

Any offer of employment will be subject to the outcome of pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing. To be successful in this role, you will need to reside in Esperance or in a nearby area.
