The Role

 

We’re offering an exciting Permanent opportunity for a motivated individual to step into the role of Specialist – Logistics Scheduling at the Esperance Terminal.

 

Roster: Monday to Friday.

 

Reporting to the Terminal Manager, your key responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Develop and optimise weekly/daily rail and road schedules using QUINTIQ, aligned to the 6-week rolling plan, utilising the QUINTIQ scheduling system  
  • Schedule/maintain stock flow from receival site to port storage and vessel loading, regularly updating and communicating stock in Port Dates  
  • Monitor port stock, quality and availability levels  
  • Coordinate equipment movements FEL / MLS for the zone 
  • Liaise daily with road/rail providers and zone management on schedule updates 
  • Track and report performance metrics across planning and logistics functions 

 

 

About You:

 

  • Previous experience in logistics and supply chain management 
  • Familiarity with port operations and vessel loading processes (desired) 
  • Exposure to Logistics Scheduler program (highly desired)  
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to problem solve and work under pressure 
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
