The Role 

Step into a leadership role and make a real impact! We have an exciting opportunity for a Terminal Supervisor, to join our Geraldton Operations team on a permanent full-time basis.

 

In this pivotal role, you’ll lead a team of Plant Operators and work closely with the Terminal Manager to ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient receival, storage, and export of grain.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide support and coaching for personnel to ensure compliance with CBH Safety requirements 
  • Conduct, lead or participate in safety audits, investigations and initiatives as required
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and guidance to the grain protection team, including completion of Annual Development Reviews (ADRs)
  • Coordinate the planning, rostering, and scheduling of the grain protection team to meet operational requirements
  • Conduct and participate in development initiatives, including providing on-the-job training and conducting toolbox/pre-start meetings as required
  • Supervise personnel to ensure that CBH productivity targets 
  • Support the Terminal Manager to achieve maximum Site efficiency and minimise costs 

 

About You: 

  • Demonstrated experience working in a team-orientated, operational environment
  • Proven commitment to a ‘Safety first’ culture
  • Proven ability to plan and communicate effectively
  • Competent in the operation of MS Office suite of products
  • Demonstrated experience supervising or leading a team (desirable)
