The Role

Get your career rolling in the agricultural services sector with Australia’s largest Co-Operative and a leader in the Australian Grain Industry.

 

The apprenticeship program will provide training, mentorship, and supervision from highly experienced Tradespeople, who are invested in seeing you finish your apprenticeship and reach your potential.

 

This position is based in Koorda but will require movement throughout receival sites, including Cadoux, Dowerin, Kalannie, Goodlands and surrounding areas.

 

Roster: Standard shifts are Monday to Friday, with additional weekend work and extended hours during harvest period as needed.

 

Responsibilities include: As an integral part of our team, you will assist in carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance and repairs to bulk handling equipment, which includes elevators, conveyors, fixed and portable machinery. In addition, you will assist with installation of new equipment and troubleshooting breakdowns as required.

 

About You:

  • Interested in a career in Mechanical Maintenance

  • Valid ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence (HR highly desired)

  • Attention to detail and a strong desire to learn

  • Strong commitment to safety

  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces and in areas with high grain dust concentrations

  • Basic to intermediate computer skills
