The Role

We have a unique and exciting opportunity for a Gang Truck Driver to join our hardworking and close-knit team on a permanent full-time basis.

 

This role is based out of Koorda and will primarily be responsible for transporting equipment between the Receival Sites throughout the Kwinana North area. Some overnight travel to metro and regional locations may be a requirement from time to time.

 

Roster: Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work (voluntary). 

 

Accommodation: Short-term accommodation is available at the Koorda CBH accommodation complex if needed

 

Key responsibilities:

  • The transportation, loading and unloading of machinery and equipment between receival sites
  • Operating and maintaining primarily an IVECO Stralis 8 x 4 prime mover and as required a Volvo FH16 600Hp 8x4 prime mover with a Effer Crane
  • Operating various trailers including Semi, B-Double and Road Train configurations
  • Assist with setting up site equipment and infrastructure for harvest and pack down post-harvest
  • Safely receiving, storing and out-loading grain and completing Receival Point Operator Duties

 

About You:

  • Hold a valid and unrestricted MC or HC licence (HR accepted with willingness to upskill)
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a White Card
  • High Risk Work Licences for dogging, rigging or vehicle loading crane (desirable)
  • Ability to pass a HVA pre-employment medical and physically fit for the role
  • Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and around grain dust
  • Solid understanding of Heavy Vehicle Accreditation and Fatigue Management requirements
