The Role

We’re looking for a Maintenance Superintendent to lead and manage our maintenance team at the Kwinana Grain Terminal, on a full-time basis.

 

You will play a pivotal role in leading a team of experienced Electrical and Mechanical technicians, managing both preventive and corrective maintenance operations while championing continuous improvement, safety and cost-effectiveness across the entire equipment lifecycle.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Execute maintenance schedules, lead Supervisors and the maintenance team, ensuring high standards of performance and safety
  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimise downtime
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues promptly
  • Manage maintenance budgets, monitor costs and optimise resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, spare parts and service agreements
  • Provide training and mentorship to maintenance staff

 

About you:

  • Trade or engineering qualification in mechanical/electrical discipline with strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Proven experience in maintenance leadership within industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively
  • Commitment to safety and compliance standards

Desired

  • 5+ years in a supervisory or superintendent role
  • Proficiency in SAP S4 Hana
  • Experience with reliability-centered maintenance and continuous improvement methodologies
