The Role
This leadership role reporting to the Kwinana South General Manager, is accountable for planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance, maintenance team leadership & project coordination, liaising with Engineering and Project counterparts to deliver replacement equipment and modifications.
You will thrive in safety orientated environment and demonstrate commitment to implementing innovative solutions to cost effectively deliver the required equipment availability and reliability.
Location:
This role is based at the Avon or Corrigin office, with the requirement to travel to other locations from time to time.
A company vehicle is included in the package for this role
Responsibilities include:
- Prioritising health, safety, and environmental standards by modelling safe behaviours, ensuring adherence to CBH safe systems of work, and proactively improving safety practices
- Providing strong leadership and development opportunities for Mechanical and Electrical trade personnel, while fostering an engaged and values-driven team culture
- Ensuring newly installed equipment is maintained safely and effectively, and sustainably managing equipment throughout its life cycle to maintain reliability
- Supporting disciplined execution of maintenance schedules, collaborating across departments to enhance productivity, and actively contributing to both short-term and long-term maintenance planning
- Managing maintenance budgets effectively, ensuring cost targets are met, and strategically deploying sustaining capital while monitoring equipment performance for improvements
About You:
- Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing maintenance teams
- Strong understanding of maintenance work systems, execution, and planning
- Experience managing large-scale maintenance operations, contractor management, and P&L accountability
- SAP experience in planned maintenance and sustaining capital
Desirable:
- Tertiary qualification in engineering or business
