The Role
As Executive Assistant to the Chief Operations Officer, you’ll be a trusted partner at the heart of CBH’s operations. This role goes beyond diary management, supporting effective decision‑making through strong organisation, sound judgement and proactive coordination. You’ll help keep priorities aligned and operations running smoothly, making a meaningful contribution behind the scenes.
Responsibilities include:
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with growers, customers, senior leaders and external stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact on behalf of the COO.
- Provide high‑quality executive and operational support to the COO and senior leaders, including reports, correspondence, meetings and coordination of priorities, whilst anticipating priorities, resolving issues early and ensuring focus on the highest‑value activities.
- Manage and respond to grower and customer enquiries for the COO, supporting effective communication and positive engagement across the Operations portfolio.
- Coordinate leadership meetings, events and workshops, ensuring agendas, papers, minutes and actions are well managed to support productivity and decision‑making.
About You:
- Extensive experience as an Executive Assistant, supporting executive leaders and managing complex portfolios in large or highly complex organisational environments.
- Proven experience communicating clearly while confidently managing competing priorities, timeframes and planning with a high degree of accuracy.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); and SAP4/HANA.
- Demonstrates strong stakeholder partnering skills, using sound judgement to escalate issues appropriately while maintaining trusted, professional relationships.
- Demonstrates high levels of professionalism, discretion and integrity in managing confidential and sensitive information.
- Previous experience supporting an operations leadership team is desirable, though not essential.
