The Role


Are you passionate about shaping workplace culture and coaching leaders to thrive? We're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to provide expert guidance and support across a range of people-related initiatives.

In this role, you’ll work closely with business leaders to develop their people leadership capability, offering strategic HR advice on workforce planning, succession management, employee relations, engagement strategies, and organisational design. You’ll champion best practices in performance management, talent retention, and compliance while ensuring alignment with company values.

This role is on a job share arrangement, 24 hours per week (Wednesday to Friday) on a 12-month fixed-term contract commencing early July.

You’ll be based in our Perth CBD office.

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Coach and advise leaders on talent development, retention, and effective performance management

  • Provide strategic guidance on structuring teams for success and future growth

  • Ensure people management processes are widely applied and understood, while meeting legal compliance requirements.

  • Support leaders in fostering a high-performing and engaged workforce

  • Work as a part of your stakeholders’ management team, building a deep understanding of their business strategy and operations to provide support that is simple, efficient and supports the delivery of business outcomes.

  • Contribute to HR initiatives that drive business outcomes and workforce effectiveness

  • Contribute to recruitment processes to ensure they are conducted in a timely and efficient manner to minimise impacts

 

About You:

 

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline, with demonstrated experience in business partnering.

  • Previous experience in coaching and developing others to build people leadership capability

  • Proven knowledge and hands-on experience in applying HR principles effectively

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to influence and coach at management level

  • Experience in facilitating workshops in areas such as employee engagement, talent and succession, employee relations and workforce planning across all levels of an organisation.  

  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant workplace legislation

 

Desirable:

  • Competent in use of SAP HCM modules and Success Factors
