The Role 

 

Due to upcoming leave coverage, this role is being offered on a 12 month fixed term contract commencing in May.  In this dynamic role, you’ll support the Community Relations Manager & lead the charge in executing CBH Community Investment Fund activities, driving awareness and engagement. You’ll coordinate a diverse portfolio of community investment projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and to the highest standards. Be a part of something impactful and exciting!  

 

Responsibilities include:  

 

  • Community Investment Coordination: Lead  a diverse portfolio of community investment activities,  while monitoring and evaluating the performance of community initiatives to recommend improvements 

  • Marketing & Engagement: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing, communications, and engagement plans to effectively reach growers, employees, and stakeholders 

  • Content Development: Create and maintain engaging content for social media, websites, intranets, presentations, and other corporate communication channels 

  • Representation  Represent CBH at community events and forums 

 

About You: 

 

  • Proven practical experience in community relations, including managing a large portfolio of community activities 

  • Strong ability to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously 

  • Effective in building productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders 

  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful communication and engagement strategies that align with business goals 

  • Excellent skills in marketing and employee communications, capable of articulating information to diverse audiences 

  • Event Production, experienced in planning and executing events from start to finish 

 

Desirable: 

  • Tertiary qualification in communications, marketing, public relations or similar  

  • Working knowledge of social impact and/or evaluation   

  • A background in regional development and knowledge of agribusiness and/or agriculture
