The Role
Join our Environment & Sustainability team in our Operations Division!
This fixed-term role, until October 2025, offers true flexibility offering part time or full time hours and hybrid work options.
Take charge of coordinating environmental approvals for CBH, contributing directly to helping achieve outcomes that benefit the environment and the communities in which we operate for the long term.
Responsibilities:

Coordinate environmental referral and approval processes & associated document for environmental management plans, construction management plans and biodiversity offset proposals

Manage specialised contractors and consultants to ensure environmental reports, referrals and applications are complete

Identify and address inefficiencies in CBH's environmental approvals program and contractor management

Assess environmental approval risks and opportunities, ensuring stakeholders are informed
-
Provide technical support for environmental approval processes, supporting execution of specific projects

Liaise with State and Commonwealth regulators in relation to CBH projects
-
Contribute to improving our GIS infrastructure for improved decision-making and operational efficiency
About You:

Proven track record in managing environmental approvals, actively engaging with local, state, and federal government regulators

Tertiary qualified in environmental science or related field

Proficiency in interpreting technical reports
