The Role

As part of our network strategy, CBH is committed to investing $4 billion over the next decade to expand and enhance our infrastructure. This role will play a pivotal role in planning and executing the capital portfolio associated with this initiative.

 

A fantastic opportunity awaits for an experienced Control Systems Engineer to lead our in-house controls function.

 

Based in the CBD in our modern offices, this permanent role offers a chance to contribute to design, provide technical advice and support maintenance across CBH business units.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the technical aspect of control systems engineering within CBH, including ownership of technical standards and standard drawings. 

  • Designing control systems and instrumentation for port infrastructure, belt conveyors and custom mobile materials handling equipment.

  • Supporting through providing specialist engineering advice to bolster CBH Operations, Projects, and Planning activities.

 

About You:

  • Track record in similar engineering-based environment coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to operate at a senior level and willing to take up a leadership role across a variety of Control Systems related projects

  • Thorough understanding and competent in configuring and programming of control systems

  • Skilled in designing communications system networks
