The Role
We are seeking a Payroll Officer to join our team on a fulltime basis. In this pivotal role, you’ll support the end-to-end processing of weekly payroll, ensuring the accurate and timely payment of salaries and wages. You will also assist with maintaining payroll records, timekeeping data, leave balances and other payroll related information.
Responsibilities include:

Provide interpretation and guidance on payroll legislation, Enterprise Agreements, policies and procedures

Accurately process payroll data, including timesheets, allowances, deductions and terminations

Reconcile and remit weekly payroll deductions

Prepare month‑end reports and support ad hoc payroll activities

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure employee deductions and third-party vendor payments are processed correctly
About You:

Previous experience in payroll processing
-
A solid understanding of current payroll practices and legislation

The ability to interpret Enterprise Agreements and relevant legislation

Experience using large payroll systems (WFD & SAP advantageous)

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to confidentiality and compliance

A professional, customer‑focused approach to payroll service delivery
