We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our Network Planning team, within our Operations Division on a full-time basis as a Property & Land Senior Specialist, based in our Perth CBD offices.

This role supports our operational supply chain by supporting the effective management of CBH’s extensive network land and property portfolio to enable CBH to provide optionality to the business and future proof the storage and handling network.   

Reporting to the Manager – Property & Land and working closely with operational personnel in head office and regional areas, the key deliverables for the role are:  

 

  • Lead in-depth property analysis, acquisition, and sale of land in alignment with CBH’s network plan and capital program, securing key acquisitions for network site upgrades, expansions, environmental offsets, company housing, site accommodation, and disposals.

  • Manage subdivision/amalgamation of land, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve on budget and timely due diligence, subdivisions, and settlements

  • Arrange property business cases, options for purchase agreements, contracts of sale, payments for land, approvals, and land transfers to CBH

  • Provide strategic property-related expertise and advice to key internal stakeholders, whilst playing an important role on CBH’s Regulatory Approval’s Committee

  • Coordinate and manage the end-to-end leasing process, both from a landlord and tenant perspective on behalf of CBH, including expression of interest programs.

  • Serve as the single point of contact for landlords, tenants, consulting real estate agents, valuers and internal stakeholders on lease matters.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on company housing portfolio matters

  • Support property administration, including recording and updating property transactions, administering lease agreements, and managing legal documentation

  • Process rent, rates, and taxes for the company's property portfolio

 

About You:

 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role

  • Relevant tertiary and/or business qualifications (e.g., property, portfolio management, planning, surveying)

  • Proven knowledge and skills in portfolio, asset, and property management, or related fields

  • Understanding of legal leases, contracts, and land procedures

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Experience in report production and presenting recommendations
