The Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for to join our Asset Management team in the Specialist – Electrical Assets and Compliance role on a 12-month fixed term opportunity.
The primary purpose of this role is to travel to various CBH locations throughout the state to conduct validation checks and verify compliance of electrical systems.
While CBH head office is based in Perth, you will be required to travel to the other sites across our network you can be based in country location and operate from there.

Responsibilities include:

Travel to different locations to perform validation checks on electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, control systems, and other related components.

Conduct visual and functional testing of electrical installations to ensure proper system performance.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Identify and document any non-compliance, defects, or potential safety hazards and provide recommendations for corrective actions.

Generate detailed reports and documentation of findings, including observations, measurements, test results, and recommendations for remediation or improvements.

Coordinate mobile equipment specification, mobilisation to site, and the demobilisation of mobile assets to be retired.

Collaborate with relevant stakeholders and analyse electrical systems and components to diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to performance, functionality, or safety.

Assist in developing and managing the equipment budget, including forecasting expenditures, monitoring costs, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Act as an Electrical Nominee for the business.
About You:

Proven experience working as an electrician, with a focus on electrical system validation, inspections, or quality control

Valid and current technical certifications and tickets, including:
-
Trade certification as an Electrician

Electrician's license or certification issued by the state

Low Voltage Rescue
-
CPR First Aid
-
Construction Induction White Card
-
Australian drivers licence
-

In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards

Confidence and adaptability to travel to various locations and work with a range of people

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate information to a diverse range of people

Ability to work autonomously however within a collaborative work environment

Continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to establish or improve processes and structures
-
Previous experience with the Microsoft Office suite and SAP
