The Role
If you enjoy understanding how people learn, working collaboratively with others and creating practical solutions that help teams feel confident and capable, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution across CBH.
As Specialist – Learning Design & Development, you will partner with the Culture & Capability team, business stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify learning needs, recommend fit-for-purpose interventions and design, develop, deploy and review learning activities that support business outcomes and CBH learning standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand learning needs, capability gaps and business priorities.
- Design and develop clear, inclusive learning programs and resources, with a focus on online content and practical learner experience.
- Provide learning design advice for business and technology projects, supporting consistent learning principles, governance and quality standards.
- Facilitate workshops, online courses and other training experiences, while supporting others to deliver engaging learning activities.
- Use learning data, feedback and completion trends to review effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve learner experience and impact.
About You:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Learning and Development, Organisational Development or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, with practical knowledge of adult learning principles and learning governance.
- Demonstrated experience in learning and development, including learning needs analysis, learning design, facilitation and evaluation.
- Confidence using learning systems and authoring tools, including SuccessFactors and Articulate, to create clear and engaging learning content.
- A collaborative and considerate approach, with strong written communication skills and the ability to translate complex information into practical learning resources.
