The Role 

Join our Asset Management team as a Specialist – Master Data on a 2-year fixed term contract. Located in Perth, you’ll develop and maintain SAP maintenance technical objects, maintenance plans and associated work instructions in SAP while ensuring compliance with master data standards and processes. 

 

The position involves regular travel to WA sites to collaborate with teams, build accurate Bills of Materials, and maintain data integrity across our asset management systems. 

 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to develop, maintain and update equipment Bill of Materials 
  • Develop, maintain, routinely audit documentation and asset data management processes and systems of work 
  • Establish asset data review and data validation processes to ensure the optimum level of accuracy is used to inform business decisions 
  • Support Asset Management by gathering and collating data used for asset data modelling and analysis (e.g., data used for whole-of-life asset cost models) 
  • Process SAP asset management master data change/creation requests, in line with approved procedures and standards 

 

About You: 

  • Mechanical/electrical trade qualification (or similar/ equivalent experience) 
  • Proven experience in Maintenance Planning (highly desired) 
  • Experience building Bill of Materials (highly desired)  
  • Advanced skills using Microsoft Excel to manipulate, analyse and report data 
  • Strong SAP EAM transactional processing experience 
  • Inventory management and material master data experience (desirable) 
  • Good communication skills and ability to work across cross-functional teams
