The Role

The Specialist – UX/UI Designer and Web Developer leverages UX/UI design, web and front-end development expertise to build, maintain and optimise CBH’s Single Design System and digital product pipeline. The role supports web platforms, including Sitecore CMS, providing updates, minor page builds and user guidance.

 

This position ensures consistent, accessible and on-brand digital experiences, while supporting platform performance, issue resolution and continuous improvement across Digital and IT.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Applies a developed knowledge of UX/UI design, web development and front-end principles to build, refine and monitor the Single Design System, supporting continuous digital delivery
  • Design user interactions and customer experiences across web platforms using established Digital team tools and techniques
  • Develop concepts into outputs including wireframes, prototypes and storyboards (using Figma)
  • Review and recommend improvements aligned to security, usability and accessibility standards
  • Manage the Single Design System, ensuring assets are converted to code, correctly catalogued and accessible to users
  • Provide Sitecore CMS support, including guidance and basic content, layout and page updates

 

About You:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in technology or business (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong expertise in digital product or application design and development, including creative design, web development and agile ways of working
  • Proven experience in UX/UI design
  • Working knowledge of modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript)
  • Experience with content management systems such as Sitecore (highly advantageous)
  • Exposure to Figma, Storybook and Zeroheight (desirable)
