The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead our Accounts Payable function. In this role, you’ll act as the subject matter expert, overseeing the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments while guiding day-to-day team operations. You’ll also partner closely with the Manager - Finance Shared Services to drive continuous improvement and deliver exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.

 

This position is offered on a fixed term basis until 31 March 2027.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervise Accounts Payable team, supporting daily operations and providing guidance
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor and grower invoices and payments, in line with delegated authority and agreed payment terms
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate monthly reconciliations for vendors and local and international creditors
  • Provide advice, guidance and support on Accounts Payable processes, accounting policies and delegations of authority

 

About You:

  • Tertiary qualification in commerce, accounting, book-keeping or finance related discipline or significant work experience in financial shared services  
  • 3-5 years’ experience in an accounts payable role
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation
  • Supervisory experience within a finance‑related role
  • SAP experience desirable
