The Role

We’ve got a great opportunity for a Gang Truck Offsider to join our hardworking and close-knit team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Based out of Wongan Hills, this role primarily involves transporting machinery and equipment between receival sites across the Kwinana North zone – covering areas from Watheroo to McLevie (Dalwallinu), down to Konnongorring and west to Regans Ford, along with support across the broader region when needed. This is a two-up driver/offsider role and may include some overnight stays in metro or regional areas.

Roster: Monday to Friday with the potential for overtime and weekend work during peak periods
Accommodation: Short-term accommodation available at the Wongan Hills Guest House

Key responsibilities:

• Transporting, loading and unloading machinery and infrastructure between receival sites
• Operating a Volvo FH13 500Hp 8x4 prime mover with an Effer 315-5S Crane as required for specific equipment loads (e.g. MLS, stacker hoppers, augers)
• Operating various trailer configurations including Semi, B-Double and Road Train
• Supporting site set-up and pack down for harvest
• Performing Receival Point Operator (RPO) duties when required, including grain receival, storage and outloading

About You:

• Hold a valid and unrestricted HC licence (HR accepted with willingness to upskill)
• Hold or be willing to obtain a White Card
• High Risk Work Licences for dogging, rigging or vehicle loading crane are desirable
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and physically fit for the role
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and around grain dust
• Solid understanding of Heavy Vehicle Accreditation and Fatigue Management requirements
